UNIQA OFFICIAL INSURANCE OF THE MEN'S EUROPEAN WATER POLO CHAMPIONSHIP IN BELGRADE 2026

Belgrade, 11/12/2025 - UNIQA osiguranje continues the tradition of investing in top sports and supporting the organization of the biggest sporting events. This year, UNIQA becomes the official insurance of the European Championship (EP) in water polo for men, a prestigious competition that brings the best selections of the continent to Belgrade and is one of the most important sports events in 2026. UNIQA, as an insurance company of the EP that will be held in the Belgrade Arena, takes care of the safety of the participants of the competition, the persons involved in the organization of the event, volunteers and the facility where this competition is held.

The European Men's Water Polo Championship 2026 will be held in Belgrade from January 10 to 25, when the 16 best European national teams will gather in the Belgrade Arena. This is the third time that Belgrade will host the largest continental water polo competition (after 2006 and 2016), which once again confirms its status as one of the most important centers of European water polo. We believe that the audience will see off this competition and will be a good host for the participants of the tournament and the best European teams.
